Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support smooth operations. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, assist with access procedures, and provide strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, yard, loading dock areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or credentials, directing visitor and driver traffic, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken and assisting first responders as needed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, monitor alarms and/or cameras when assigned, and communicate observed issues to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
