About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Rounds in Clarksville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic tech and media location. In this driving post, you will use a valid driver’s license to conduct vehicle patrols, complete routine rounds, check doors and gates, and respond to calls for assistance. You will stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document observations, and deliver courteous customer service through clear communication and teamwork with site staff.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor check-in procedures, and security-related systems such as cameras and alarm panels, and report issues per post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and escalate maintenance, hazards, and/or policy concerns through the proper channels.
