Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Headquarters in Juno Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utility location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a guard card.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help support site rules and report potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and communicate visitor, contractor, and/or employee issues to the appropriate contacts.
- Support daily operations at the location by observing equipment areas, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with orderly response during weather, utility, and/or site-related events.
