Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear communication to site contacts and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying credentials and directing individuals to approved destinations in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine security-related reports and logs, including patrol observations, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and report maintenance concerns such as damaged doors, lights, and/or gates.
