As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site leaders, drivers, and team members. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, trailer yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, monitoring employee entrances, and maintaining logs for drivers, trailers, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication systems, and complete timely reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and policy violations.
