About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol & Badging in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to requests, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization as required; assist with visitor check-in and directing authorized persons to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from management and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts, and support security-related investigations as directed.
