As an unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, documenting details, and supporting incident response actions.
  • Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to onsite management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
