About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Routes in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control while providing standout customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle as needed while documenting activity and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail corridors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or access points as assigned, and document observations and unusual conditions per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and emergency responders as needed.
- Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover to support continuity of security-related operations.
