You will conduct mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity as you work with the team to respond to concerns and report activity promptly.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns.
Monitor access points and control vehicle and pedestrian entry by verifying identification, directing truck traffic, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs per location requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, medical events, and/or disturbances to the appropriate contacts.
Operate security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and communication tools, and complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation.
