You will conduct routine patrols, complete security-related checks, respond to alarms and/or guest concerns, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. You will represent a caring, people-first culture by delivering great customer service, working as a team, and acting with integrity in a fast-moving environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, stock corridors, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, crowding, and/or potential loss concerns, and communicate observations per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with onsite management and/or local public services as directed.
Complete reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and customer interactions, and promptly notify supervision of hazards, maintenance issues, and/or operational concerns.
