As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to requests with a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • Have an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred, which may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, badges, and/or visitor authorizations; maintain visitor logs and direct visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Document patrol activities, observations, and incidents using written reports and/or electronic reporting systems; communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.
