Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government maritime location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and document security-related activity. You will help to deter unwanted behavior through professional presence, clear communication, and responsive customer service for employees, visitors, and vendors. Requirements
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, docks, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity in logs and reports.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel, complete incident reports as needed, and support investigations by preserving observations and information.
