As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will be a key point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff, providing clear communication and strong customer service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders within a commercial real estate location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the building perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Control access as assigned by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to approved destinations, while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete routine security-related reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
