As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist guests and tenants with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and support a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, bringing a caring, people-first approach while acting with integrity.

Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or access control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Monitor entry points and common areas for unusual activity, assist with crowd and/or traffic flow as needed, and support authorized personnel with directions and general assistance.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and pass-downs.
