You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and professionalism. You will document observations, support access control as needed, and work as part of a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders at a technology-focused location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, labs, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other site systems when assigned, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while notifying appropriate contacts.
- Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or deliveries, and maintaining awareness of restricted areas and sensitive workspaces.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
