As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will observe and report unusual activity, support access control, and respond to calls for service with calm professionalism. Bring agile, reliable teamwork and integrity while delivering caring, customer-focused communication to staff and visitors.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, office areas, ATM and teller-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points and observe for unusual behavior, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and escalation to site management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or suspicious activity, following post orders and established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
