As a Front Desk Officer in a residential community, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping residents and guests with check-in procedures, access requests, and visitor guidance. You will monitor activity at the lobby desk, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with on-site staff and leadership. Requirements

  • The client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and property staff by following site-specific access procedures, security-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the front desk post by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or guest authorization, issuing visitor information as directed, and maintaining a professional presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying property management and/or emergency services per site procedures.
  • Monitor building entry points and front desk systems such as phones, intercoms, cameras, and alarm panels as assigned, reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as visitor logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
