As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Benson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and provide helpful customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site area.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring gates, doors, and restricted areas, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing deliveries and contractors according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical events, fire indicators, and equipment or process-related disruptions, and notify designated contacts as required.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
