Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Rounds in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support store teams and guests with professional customer service. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to situations with integrity. Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances and/or property-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail and common areas, including storefront corridors, entrances, loading areas and perimeter walkways as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or local authorities as required.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs and incident documentation, and assist with access control, wayfinding and visitor questions as needed.
