About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support associates and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, supporting patrol coverage across the site. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following post orders, security-related procedures, and location-specific policies for a logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, yard, docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and driver check-in and/or check-out, and directing traffic flow as needed to support location operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, patrol findings, and incidents, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
