Position Summary: As a Security Officer, your duties encompass conducting unarmed patrols both indoors and outdoors, managing access points, supervising CCTV and alarm systems, preparing reports, discouraging criminal behavior, and fulfilling other responsibilities as outlined in directives. This position is well-suited for individuals with a strong focus on customer service, exuding a friendly and dynamic demeanor.

Requirements

Completed High School Diploma or GED (required)
Valid ID and/or driver’s license
Ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)
Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. If any employment cannot be confirmed, candidates may be required to provide proof of employment (such as a pay stubs or W-2s).

Responsibilities

Maintaining security and safety throughout the organizaion - and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
Perform patrols of assigned areas on foot or in vehicles.
Maintain vigilance for irregularities or potential security threats.
Promptly respond to alarms and liaise with law enforcement or fire services as needed.
Enforce rules and regulations, including prohibition of loitering or smoking.
Facilitate access for authorized individuals while monitoring entries and exits.
Ensure compliance with company property protection protocols by departing personnel.
Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, maintaining precise written records.
Supervise visitor check-ins and inspect trucks for clearance prior to entry.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
