As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations using computer and/or tablet tools. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will deliver professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture grounded in teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ months of security experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government location by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas; observe and report unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as directed, assist with orderly entry and exit, and help maintain a professional presence in public-facing areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations; communicate clearly with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership during shift turnover.
