In this primarily driving post, you will use your valid driver’s license to conduct vehicle patrols and perimeter checks, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document observations, and respond to calls for service. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a caring, people-first team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points, observe for unusual conditions, and verify identification and/or authorization as required by site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and/or directing people according to site protocols.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
