You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support associates and shoppers with strong customer service and clear communication. This role values agility, reliability, and innovation, backed by a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity while responding to concerns and documenting activity throughout your shift.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and suspicious activity within the retail location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter theft and other policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit points for unusual activity, support store operations with de-escalation and directions, and document observations in required reports.
- Communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, store management, and local authorities as needed, and assist with closing and opening routines and access control at designated doors.
