Requirements

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in support of security-related access requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Support site operations by reporting unusual activity, access irregularities, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations that could impact security-related protocols.
