Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will manage visitor check-in, issue badges, monitor access control and alarm panels, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a manufacturing location.
  • Control access by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests and deliveries to the appropriate destination per site procedures.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; document unusual activity and notify appropriate personnel based on post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required reports and logs, including visitor records, incident documentation, and shift turnover notes; communicate key updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
