As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by screening entrants and items at controlled access points, monitoring activity, documenting incidents, and communicating clearly with team members and site contacts. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, and provide helpful customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and vendors for authorized entry by checking identification and credentials, monitoring entry points, and using screening equipment and/or manual screening methods as required by site policy.
• Control access by processing sign-ins, issuing visitor badges, directing foot traffic, and coordinating with site personnel regarding deliveries, drivers, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports, document screening activity, and communicate security-related concerns to supervisors and site management.
