About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Hartwell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this role, you will monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver service with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor processing at an automotive location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or contractor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, including parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other sensitive locations as directed by site policies.
Document daily activities, access-related events, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific security-related procedures.
