Security Officer Warehouse Entry Control
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Warehouse Entry Control in Lebanon, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting visitor and driver check-in. You will conduct routine patrols in assigned areas, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to drivers, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry logs, and directing traffic flow to help support orderly operations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities as directed by post orders.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems, document observations, and report irregular activity through required communication and reporting channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas, dock areas, and exterior access points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
