You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help reduce incidents. Deliver clear communication and customer service to team members, drivers, and visitors while documenting activity in systems as needed. Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and exit logs at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or dock areas by screening deliveries and pickups, coordinating with warehouse staff, and directing traffic flow for pedestrians and vehicles as required by site policy.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems to help identify unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response activities, documenting events, and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help identify hazards, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
