Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support smooth operations by screening people and packages, monitoring assigned areas, completing routine patrols, and documenting security-related activity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ months of security experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering designated areas by verifying identification, reviewing shipping documentation, and directing traffic flow per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns and escalating to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and camera views when assigned, documenting unusual activity and communicating updates to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior and perimeter areas when assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
