Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential community, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control at entry points, respond to resident concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to property management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related issues.
• Monitor entry points, common areas, and designated locations for suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and policy violations, taking appropriate action per post orders.
• Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident documentation, and communication logs, and provide clear handoff updates to oncoming personnel.
