As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and tenants, communicate clearly with store teams and law enforcement when needed, and document observations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, medical calls, and/or service requests.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior perimeters, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
- Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
- Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol findings in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
