You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge checks, and document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. With an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will deliver strong customer service, communicate clearly, and act with integrity while helping maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
  • 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for service, coordinating notifications, and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor processing and directions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete thorough security-related reports, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity updates, and report maintenance issues such as damaged doors, gates, fencing, and/or lighting.
