You will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and use clear communication and strong customer service to guide employees and visitors. You may work with access control and badge verification while staying visible and responsive to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government aviation construction and administrative location.
  • Screen personnel, visitors, and deliveries at designated checkpoints by verifying credentials, confirming access authorization, and directing individuals through required screening steps.
  • Monitor entry points and screening areas for irregular activity, prohibited items, and/or policy violations, and report concerns through established communication and documentation channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or local public agencies as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including nearby perimeters and staging areas, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
