Security Officer (2nd Shift)
About The Position
The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer for the 2nd Shift to join our team in Longboat Key, FL. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests, staff, and property by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and enforcing resort policies with professionalism and integrity. Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift hours as scheduled.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Law enforcement experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the resort premises during the 2nd shift to ensure safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following established protocols.
- Enforce resort policies and regulations consistently and courteously.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential hazards or security concerns.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
- Assist guests and staff with security-related inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
