As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and drivers, helping to support a professional, orderly entry experience. You will manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor cameras and alarms, document activity, and communicate concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and supporting phone and radio communications as needed.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification, managing key and/or badge control processes as assigned, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels when assigned, and report irregular conditions according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
