About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team at a fixed site in Saratoga Springs, NY. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are attentive, personable, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment. The position is Saturday through Monday from 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM with a total of 24 hours a week at a ray rate of $22.00 per hour. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
Excellent communication; articulate and able to resolve conflict effectively
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Technologically proficient with CCTV and basic reporting tools
Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations
Must have reliable transportation (this site is not on a bus line)

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Conduct regular walking patrols of the premises (this is an active role requiring a lot of walking)
Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment
Write accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports
Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and site staff
Handle confidential information
Contact emergency services when required and follow established safety protocols
