As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a high-visibility presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flows. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas and exterior perimeters, including parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and common spaces, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry by checking identification, visitor logs, and/or delivery documentation, and directing visitors, contractors, and drivers according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating notifications, and supporting local responders as directed by post orders.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, complete required reports and logs, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and the Allied Universal leadership team.
