You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will deliver clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and escalating concerns. Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Must have an active Government Secret Clearance
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and visitor management processes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization, and help maintain orderly entry, exit, and delivery activity consistent with site requirements in an aero and defense location.
  • Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate shifts handoff information, and support Allied Universal account leadership with documentation and follow-up on security-related events.
