About The Position
As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Weekdays in Holbrook, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service that supports daily operations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse and shipping zones, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and visitor logs, issuing temporary badges as directed, and monitoring inbound and outbound vehicle traffic.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key observations during shift turnovers, and assist with compliance checks such as door status, alarm panel indicators, and lighting issues.
