About The Position

Currently recruiting for a PT Security Officer (s) in Princeton, NJ Shift: Saturday and Sunday 3:00pm to 11:00pm OR 11:00pm to 7:00am Sunday to Monday Monday to Tuesday $18.00 an hour This position is primarily outdoors and located right across the street from Princeton University in an area called Palmer Square . The location is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and a boutique hotel, making it a very pleasant environment to work in. We’re looking for a Security Officer to provide a visible presence and conduct routine tours of the area. The role is focused on maintaining safety, offering assistance when needed, and being an overall professional presence for the community. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience highly preferred
