As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and complete access control and badge checks to help support a welcoming environment. You will remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, respond to incidents, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, monitoring contractor and delivery driver check-in and/or check-out, and directing traffic flow as needed.
- Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
