As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with site leaders while documenting observations. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter, checking doors, restricted areas, and key operational spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and report suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
