As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual behavior, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating response until additional support arrives.
- Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant updates to incoming personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
