Job Description As a Security Officer - Full-Time Overnight Patrol in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and respond to incidents according to post orders while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, tank farm and/or pipeline corridors, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and vehicle entries, verify identification and delivery documentation, manage visitor check-in and badge issuance, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed and completing required reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns such as open gates, damaged fencing, lighting outages, or suspicious activity, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
