As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol guest areas, entrances, and amenities, completing routine rounds and staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests with professionalism, respond to service requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with site staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and/or medical situations, and notify site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, lobbies, parking areas, back-of-house spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, checking credentials where required, managing visitor sign-in processes, and directing guests and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
