As a Front Desk Officer at a residential community, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access control and badges, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies from the front desk.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor and vendor credentials, maintaining entry logs, and coordinating resident notifications as required.
  • Monitor cameras, intercoms, alarms, and/or other building systems and report irregular activity, maintenance concerns, and policy issues to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and following emergency response instructions.
  • Complete detailed written and/or electronic reports, document incidents and service requests, and communicate timely updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
