As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security-related protocols.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed while following security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report irregularities.
Document and report any observed incidents, irregularities, or security-related concerns in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
