As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of docks, trailer yards, and access points, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. You will support shipping and facility teams with professional customer service, respond to incidents, and follow site procedures with integrity. Bring agility, reliability, and teamwork to every shift. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required by post orders, and assist with directing vehicle and foot traffic within the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, and medical or fire-related events, and notify management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate conditions and hazards to site leadership, and support shipping and receiving operations by reporting security-related concerns.
